I’M YOURS – A Canadian road movie. What have I got myself into? Grabbed a nice large coffee on the way in, just in case. It wasn’t all that bad, though. Sure, the characters have muddled motivations, but they aren’t simple. Not everything in the backstory is explained, not everything is tied up at the end. One of the biggest questions raised is left completely up in the air, which I really appreciate.
It’s almost like it wants to be a non-comedy homage to SOMETHING WILD. It’s slow, it’s quiet, and not just a little bit Canadian.
